6-30' Reach 35' max lens height

Our NYC based camera jib/crane operation offers two different jib rigs, the Jimmy Jib Triangle and the Jimmy Jib Lite. The Jimmy Jib Triangle is the main work horse rig and builds in 6, 12, 18, 24, and 30' reaches with a max camera payload of 50lbs. The motorhead supports cameras as small as DSLRs and as large as heavy duty cine builds with every DP's creature comfort mounted on! The second jib format offered is the Jimmy Jib Lite and builds in 6, 9, 12, and 18' reaches. This jib is more compact with only a 3' ballast arm so it's ideal for projects needing a smaller footprint yet everything electrically is the same as the Triangle. An off road dolly allows for easy transportation around sets or on locations.

LENS CONTROL

Focus zoom iris

This electronics package on our NYC Based Jimmy Jib systems comes with remote control of zoom, focus, and iris for Canon and Fuji ENG Lenses. Cine and Photo lenses can be accomdated for focus using gear adaptors. We use a a converter box to use the stock lens controls with digital zoom and focus servo motors found on more modern broadcast and cine zoom lenses.

ENG and cine

Two Sony PXW-FX9s along with a Fujinon Cabrio 19-90 T 2.9 lens make for an awesome 4k jib friendly package. If looking for HD, we have a fleet of Sony PMW300s with B4 lensing, specifically a Fujinon XS 13x3.3 superwide for a great TV jib lens. We can crew full teams of camera ops AND even have two SPIDER PODs!

MONITORING

DAYBRIGHT and 4k Recording

We use SmallHD 1303HDR and 702 Touch daybright monitors for our rigs. Both have SDI and HDMI in/outs. For cameras that use output HDMI only, an HDMI-SDI converter is used to work better with the control cable snake that runs on the jib arm. For external recording, we have multiple atomos recorders capable of up to 4k30p in AppleProres.

WEATHER

RAIN PROOF RIGs

Jibs and lightning do not mix but heavy rain is no problem. This rig sports custom made rain covers constructed by ShooterSlicker. All electronics on the rig stay perfectly dry. Bring on the rain!

sUAS and DRONE

4k Recording

We use a DJI Phantom 4 PRO for aerial videography featuring up to 4k60p recording at 100Mbs. The sUAS is equipped with 3mile anti collision lights allowing for civil twilight flights, ND filters, and 6 30min batteries!

EQUIPMENT TRANSPORTATION

Moving jibs and operators from DC to Boston

Our New York City based jib op teams are able to easily get equipment into the most difficult locations in the city. While many large operations struggle with navigating and parking 18 wheeler trucks, our jibs can be loaded into a standard minivan. We can pull up curb side or go inside loading docks and then park like any ordinary car can! Our driving radius can deliver Jimmy Jib rigs and staff to Boston, Washington DC, central Virgnia, Pittsburgh, and more.

For projects that might require Jimmy Jibs or jib operators in markets such as Miami, LA, or Austin, we can ship equipment for reasonable rates!
